Believe me it has happend to me and I have hung up the phone and questioned...who the world was that and felt so DUMB not knowing! and had to dig deep into my memory bank about what I was suppose to be doing for this person! LOL silly me I know...but to me I always begin my conversation with "Hello Sally, it's me Linda" blah blah blah..... :)Washington County Board of Realtorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16257236556292721366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-45623135874142288082012-10-24T09:31:13.749+02:002012-10-24T09:31:13.749+02:00Exactly my thoughts, Kristi.Exactly my thoughts, Kristi.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-79828446171176178652012-10-23T23:07:18.658+02:002012-10-23T23:07:18.658+02:00Perhaps I'll pass this up! Like you, we do not mind if we do not read books in sequence but we do expect them to be at least satisfying in themselves. It does not sound as if this is the case here but, no doubt, Miss Macomber's fans eagerly await each new novel and carry on from where they left off. A good marketing strategy no doubt but not for us we think!Jane and Lance Hattatthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16831890261259302647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-65301239008235583632012-10-23T10:04:09.042+02:002012-10-23T10:04:09.042+02:00Oddly, Meike, I think that 'pawing the air'...Oddly, Meike, I think that 'pawing the air' is commonly used in respect of horses. I'd never thought about it. Others will no doubt have a view.Graham Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11196744947133121475noreply@blogger.com
