Back in the autumn though I bought a long quilted skirt to be worn over either skirt or trousers in cold weather. It's designed for the purpose, as outer garment, with a zipper all the way down one side. And it's black so goes with any of my winter jackets. Not as smart-looking as your leg-warmers :) - a bit clumsier! - but easy to take on/off, and does the job of keeping me warm!DawnTreaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04533307672147117843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-89312231179757828172015-01-23T10:45:56.752+01:002015-01-23T10:45:56.752+01:00An apparent contradiction, but it fits. Crocheting is not ideal for legwarmers, and I simply am not quite the hand-crafting type, I'm afraid. As for balaclavas, I hated to see them on other kids when I was little and never wanted one myself. Thankfully, my Mum never made me wear one.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-42445031463118925172015-01-19T08:18:36.987+01:002015-01-19T08:18:36.987+01:00Hello jen, I believe this is your first comment on...Hello jen, I believe this is your first comment on my blog - welcome to My Mental Library!<br />Nice to know my post brought back this fun memory. I don't think I would want them for running; I'd probably constantly stop to pull them back up, as the material of my winter running pants (with a nice cosy thermo layer inside) is very smooth and they'd probably be slipping down half an inch with each step.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-37992157589487965612015-01-19T08:16:14.781+01:002015-01-19T08:16:14.781+01:00Thank you, Maggie, that's exactly what I think...Thank you, Maggie, that's exactly what I think!Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-7398904889527243412015-01-19T05:51:40.853+01:002015-01-19T05:51:40.853+01:00Yours are stunning and being tall & slim makes...Yours are stunning and being tall & slim makes you very fashionable!
