The one you mention sounds like a book I'd enjoy.<br />Maybe Jenny Blackhurst has read it, too, and was inspired to transport the story into our time.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-85438827818221259592015-07-02T14:52:05.516+02:002015-07-02T14:52:05.516+02:00Sorry, I meant the mid-1800s!Sorry, I meant the mid-1800s!Thickethouse.wordpresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17187303460677067276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-23164246373644064652015-07-02T14:51:33.274+02:002015-07-02T14:51:33.274+02:00Although I think it all plays out quite differentl...Although I think it all plays out quite differently, I am surprised at this plot because the last mystery I read was about a mother who is being told that she killed her child. But it is not true. This book is A Mortal Curiosity by Ann Granger, the second in her Lizzie Martin series. It's set in the mid-800s and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I think most of her books have been translated into German, but of course that is not necessary for you! This plot is not a common one and if I can find a copy of How I lost you I will read it. But my library doesn't have it.Thickethouse.wordpresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17187303460677067276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-34797811805800491182015-07-02T07:18:47.595+02:002015-07-02T07:18:47.595+02:00We all do, don't we?
