In the offline world, it is at the same time harder and easier to stay in touch - harder, because maybe you don't use email etc. to communicate with them as much, and easier, because you could just walk by their house one evening and ring the bell.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-87866434290301410272013-12-13T08:30:29.600+01:002013-12-13T08:30:29.600+01:00That is what I hope, too, Kay.

There's certainly more than enough in all our lives to fill the 24 hours each of us has every day, without me expecting them to be in touch :-)Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-31900406179716529592013-12-13T08:28:35.455+01:002013-12-13T08:28:35.455+01:00Yours would be the first spirit to ever visit me, ...Yours would be the first spirit to ever visit me, Graham!
I have found that, whenever I did get back in touch with someone after a long gap, they were happy to pick up the old thread again. So I guess it is mostly just losing sight of each other through everyday stuff taking up so much room in our lives.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-21019600755693873912013-12-12T22:17:01.466+01:002013-12-12T22:17:01.466+01:00It's hard to make friends and then lose track ...It's hard to make friends and then lose track of them -- and that's in real life and on social media.messymimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10649529601786689712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-5226198867157096062013-12-12T13:06:00.498+01:002013-12-12T13:06:00.498+01:00Meike,

She was just so funny and she left me some wonderful comments on my blog that showed her wonderful insight and humor!
And the Hattatts! They always replied to every comment, even when they would get hundreds of them!
Very thoughtful post, and I hope that all those folks are okay and just decided not to blog anymore, rather than going through any tough times. xxKay G.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07228498846814735537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-39019196507386604812013-12-12T10:18:49.941+01:002013-12-12T10:18:49.941+01:00Your post has started me thinking. It would be lovely if some of the people you've mentioned got in touch. I promise that if anything ever happens to me I'll let you know (so if you get a visit from a spirit at the end of your bed you'll know that.................I've kept my word).GBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10289400344300258872noreply@blogger.com
