In fact, she doesn't cook at all. Would you believe I have never tried making a tiramisu? Coffee makes me very nervous, if I drink it early in the morning, I will not sleep at night so I try to avoid it, and tiramisu will not be tiramisu without coffee. Here in Sicily we have what we call "torta di biscotti", it's our version of tiramisu. In fact now that I think of it I will make it and post it. It might bring memories to you:) We take petit beurres, dip them in marsala, then layer them on a dish, and fill with vanilla custard, then the next layer with chocolate sauce, and so on. Where are your posts on Sicily, I looked in your travels but couldn't find any.
