And if you have the kind of party where everyone is bringing something (and everyone is afraid of it being to little), I suspect the leftovers multiply even more!DawnTreaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04533307672147117843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-1853414800091141412015-01-23T10:44:48.266+01:002015-01-23T10:44:48.266+01:00Nobody ever wanted to marry me for my cooking or b...Nobody ever wanted to marry me for my cooking or baking skill, Graham - that lemon cheesecake must be really fantastic!Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-15447104432978225142015-01-23T10:19:27.975+01:002015-01-23T10:19:27.975+01:00Now you see I'd be the one eating your rice di...Now you see I'd be the one eating your rice dish. That's my kind of party food. In New Zealand it's called 'taking a plate' and I have one standard thing: my lemon cheesecake. It even got me a proposal of marriage on one occasion.Graham Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11196744947133121475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-15999302260556259802015-01-17T09:43:05.039+01:002015-01-17T09:43:05.039+01:00You would have been very welcome to take the whole...You would have been very welcome to take the whole bowl and leave the doggy bag with me, Kay :-DLibrarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-84147939781914236312015-01-17T09:42:41.528+01:002015-01-17T09:42:41.528+01:00Oh yes, the cake "block" is definitely t...Oh yes, the cake "block" is definitely there! But I think people are very "unreliable" when it comes to their appetites and fancies! Sometimes those you think will eat most have suddenly begun a diet, or have already eaten at home, or... It is always interesting to me what gets eaten and what doesn't. Have you noticed that people really hate cutting into a cake at the party? The only way to get them to eat it usually is to cut the slices yourself.!Jenny Woolfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16881781466502273314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1949425054295660529.post-75368278987643332842015-01-16T23:11:25.292+01:002015-01-16T23:11:25.292+01:00I still have this problem because I used to have m...I still have this problem because I used to have many guests at our cottage in the summer and learned to make food for a small army! It was never wasted, but once a person gets the idea to make these quantities it is difficult to change back. I'm working on it.
