ReplyDeleteJust in time, then :-)
DeleteMerry Christmas to you, too, dear Jennifer!
Merry Christmas, dear Meike! I have your lovely card beside me as I type this to you, it is just beside the one from John in England! So beautiful, thank you! Wishing you a happy Christmas with your loved ones!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, dear Kay! Your beautiful card arrived earlier this week and now adorns the sideboard in my living room along with the others, mostly from England (and most of those from Yorkshire).
DeleteA blessed and beautiful Merry Christmas to you!
ReplyDeleteThank you, and the same to you and yours!
DeleteWishing you and all your family the blessings, the joy, and the peace of Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear Kristi, and the same to you!
DeleteHope you're having a lovely Christmas, Meike!
ReplyDeleteI am and we are, Monica, thank you! Church today (the village band play), and then hopefully a walk this afternoon, if it does not rain for a change.
DeleteMerry Christmas to you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, and the same to you!
DeleteWhat charming Christmas lights, and a wonderful sky! it's been incredibly grey and damp here although Christmas day itself was really beautiful and sunny. I hope you and your loved ones had a wonderful Christmas and will have a happy and prosperous 2020, Meike.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jenny! Christmas was altogether beautiful, and I am sure New Year's Eve will also be nice.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for 2020 also to you and your family.
Merry Christmas Meike. It still amazes me that I can click on "you," all the way in Germany, and read your posts and comment like friends from across so many miles. Hope you have a wonderful New Year.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you, too, Jill, and all the best for 2020.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is marvellous that we can keep in touch with friends all across the world so easily now.
Blessings.
ReplyDeleteThank you, and the same to you!
DeleteI must say you do Christmas so well over there. I suppose we have Prince Albert to thank for a lot of our own traditions. And since he imported them from his native land, they form the template for our own. Only they. of course (as they would), seem more authentic to me than some of our own tacky offerings. I hope you have a wonderful 2020. Perhaps, as time and income allow, I may pass by your way again in my not-so-splendid van on some further European Odyssey. As long, that is, as we are allowed over the Channel without having insurmountable obstacles of paperwork to complete.
ReplyDeleteWe did break with one of our own traditions this year: For the first time in 54 years, our tree was without real candles... safety concerns due to my Dad's increased difficulties with mobility were the reason. But apart from that, our Christmas was as beautiful as ever.
DeleteWhen you and K. pass my way again in 2020, let me know if you need a German citizen to vouch for your good character or some such requirement!
